Overwatch Security Group Florida HR218 / LEOSA Qualifications
Overwatch Security Group offers the qualifications for retired law enforcement officers as required by the Law Enforcement Officers Safety Act (LEOSA) also known as HR218.
The range time is 8:00am on the specified date at Salt Water Gun Range on Big Oak Rd in St. Augustine.
Each participant will need to bring their firearms, 38 rounds of ammunition, at least 2 magazines (3 magazines preferred), quality holster and magazine holder. The magazine loadout is 13 – 13 – 12, in that order.
Ammunition is available for $40 per box (our cost) for 9mm, 40S&W and 45ACP.
The course of fire has changed as of July 1, 2024. It is a little more difficult. Please practice in advance, you will only have one opportunity to qualify. The course of fire is posted below.
Due to the new course of fire, you will no longer be able to qualify with revolvers, only pistols.
Once you are qualified with a pistol, you will be able to carry any pistol you’d like. For this qualification, it is highly recommended to qualify with a service-style pistol (Glock 17, Glock 19, etc.) that holds 13 or more rounds in the magazine.
The cost for the course is $70.

Cancellation and Refund Policy
Rejection: An applicant rejected by the school is entitled to a refund of all monies paid.
Student(s) will receive a full refund of course tuition if cancelled in writing 30+ days prior to the course commencement date. Student(s) will receive any paid course tuition minus 25% if cancelled in writing less than 30 days prior to the course commencement date. If a student(s) is a no show, Overwatch Security Group will not refund the course tuition. Qualified substitutions are always acceptable.
Withdrawal Procedure: A student choosing to withdraw from the school after the commencement of classes will not be refunded any monies paid to Overwatch Security Group. The student may choose to reschedule the original class.
